Cadet Drafting Oppportunities - Cairns, Townsville, Mackay And Gladstone

Through a combination of real work experience, on the job training and part time study, the GHD
Cadet Drafting program will give you the opportunity to learn and develop your technical career. You will work with experienced professionals on a wide variety of projects throughout North Queensland, across any of our five market sectors.

Who are we looking for?
Grade 12 students, recent school leavers, and Tafe/University attendees are encouraged to apply. We are looking for students who have an interest and a passion for a career in the engineering field. We currently have Cadet Drafting Opportunities in the Water and Wastewater, Urban Development, and Building Services Service Groups across Cairns, Townsville, Mackay and Gladstone.

The successful applicants will display excellent communication and presentation skills combined
with an enthusiastic, dedicated approach to on the job learning. The ideal applicant must have completed Graphics and Maths B in year 11 and 12 and have achieved a sound average or above.

This position is to start in January 2012, you must complete grade 12 and receive an OP (overall
position) of at least 16 to apply as you need to gain entry into university.
