Defence Force Information Night


Defence Force Recruiting Cairns are hosting a parents and teachers Defence careers night on Thursday 28th February 2019 at the Novotel Cairns (122 Lake Street).
 
This event will be open to teachers, students and their parents to come along and get an insight on what careers, unique lifestyles and experiences we have on offer in the Australian Defence Force.

James Cook University Careers in Health Breakfast

Students are invited to attend the JCU Careers in Health Breakfast.

The breakfast aims to explore careers within health and medical fields for regional youth.

This exciting and informative breakfast will feature a panel of students and academic staff to unpack careers and courses in:
  • Medical Research
  • Pharmacy
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Nursing
  • Speech Pathology
  • Dentistry
  • Others include physiotherapy, medicine, surgery and many more…..
In addition JCU will bring Student Ambassadors from a wide range of health and medical fields to speak to students.

TIMES:   8.30 am Registration
               9.00 am – 11.00 am Breakfast and Guest Speakers
VENUE:  Rydges Esplanade Resort, Cairns, 209 Abbott Street, Cairns
TOPIC:   “Careers in health you may have not considered”
COST:     $27-50 per person – includes breakfast and Certificate of Attendance

We are looking at students meeting in at the venue for the start of the breakfast, and then returning to school by bus. There may be an additional charge for transport.
