We are now offering Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians an opportunity to start their career in agribusiness with the Ruralco Indigenous Traineeships Program.

The agriculture sector is the fastest growing industry of the 19 key industry sectors in Australia, so securing a Traineeship within our large and diverse business is securing your future.
Our two year Traineeship Program in Livestock is developed to provide a training platform for young people to develop the necessary skills and knowledge to progress into livestock sales roles within Ruralco businesses.
A Livestock Sales Representative has the responsibility of managing the requirements of livestock (sheep and or cattle) producer clients primarily assisting with selling and purchasing.  The Program provides a tailored approach to learning, based on individual academic and cultural needs.
You are offered a full-time entry level position, competitive salary and a nationally recognised certificate or diploma.
About You:
We are looking for motivated Indigenous Australians with an interest in joining the agricultural sector working predominantly with cattle and/or sheep.
If you have experience in working with livestock, and an interest in wool, general farming and animal health together with an eagerness to learn new skills, enjoy physical work and different challenges each day then we’d like to hear from you. You will be required to rotate around different Ruralco businesses from time to time to gain invaluable experience and establish networks.  You will be supported by the Company with relocation assistance.  As part of the Traineeship, you’ll be paid to receive on-the-job training in a real workplace while completing a Vocational qualification at Certificate level to become fully qualified.
How to Apply:
To join this diverse business offering the opportunity to develop and progress your career alongside like-minded people in a supportive environment, just email your details to hello@explorecareers.com.au – clearly stating your preferred work location and we will get back in touch with you to discuss your application.
