Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA)

In 2012, the Victorian College of the Arts is launching its new Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), with specialisations in Contemporary Music, Dance, Film and Television, Music Theatre, Production, Theatre Practice and Visual Art.

The new BFA continues the VCA’s commitment to studio-based learning, immersive training and critical investigation, building students’ capacity for inventive collaboration and individual achievement. BFA students will join a vibrant community of contemporary visual artists and writers, choreographers, musicians, designers, performers, actors, filmmakers and dancers all committed to the production of new artistic work.

The degree is characterised by regular exhibitions, performances, concerts and production work and the third year of study provides a focus on profiling students’ work to the arts industry.

Focus on VCA Thursday 30 June 2011 6.30pm—8.30pm
