Undergraduate Medicine and Health Sciences Admissions Test (UMAT 2014)

Are you interested in studying Medicine or another Health Science in 2015? Some universities require students to sit a UMAT exam. The following information has been taken from the UMAT website and provides information about which universities and courses require the UMAT, the test date and registration dates, and how to register.

Test Date and Registration Deadline
UMAT2014 will be held on 30 July 2014.  UMAT is offered once a year only. Registrations for UMAT2014 are NOW OPEN and they close at 5pm AEST on Friday June 6th 2014. UMAT scores can be used for admission to any of the UMAT Consortium universities ONLY in the year following the test. For example, results from UMAT2014 can be used for undergraduate medicine or health science courses beginning in 2015 but NOT 2016. Do not register for UMAT2014 unless you are planning to apply for a course commencing in 2015 AND you meet the eligibility criteria specified in the UMAT2014 Information Booklet.For information regarding registration for the UMAT, please visit: http://umat.acer.edu.au/

How To Register
Registration is available online only via the UMAT website. To register you will need a computer with internet access and an email address. This email address will be used for all communication from the UMAT Office, including information on how to access your Admission Ticket and results.

You must read the Information Booklet carefully BEFORE you register.  The Booklet contains important information that you should know.  The  information book can be accessed at: http://umat.acer.edu.au/files/UMAT_info_book_14.pdf

  The UMAT can be sat in Cairns in 2014.

For further information, including information about which universities and courses require the UMAT, please visit the UMAT website at: http://umat.acer.edu.au/ Please note there are some companies that assist students in preparing for the UMAT for a fee. The school will not recommend any of these courses or refer students to certain courses. Should students wish to engage in a preparation program, then this will be done at their own discretion. Students can source a number of companies who offer UMAT preparation courses online.
