The Far North Queensland Youth Assistance Fund

The Far North Queensland Youth Assistance Fund can provide grants for nominated young people under the age of 21 up to a maximum of $3,000 per individual to support, promote and encourage their artisticeducational or sporting potential. Students may re-apply each year until they reach 21.

Assistance may be given by way of financial support for:
·         Uniforms
·         School supplies/equipment/books
·         Excursions.

This is not a definite list and other needs may be considered on a case by case basis so long as they are linked to educational participation. The Fund will endeavour to assist applicants parents must reside in our region (Cardwell north to Thursday Island and west to Normanton). Application forms may be downloaded at:
