Calendar of events
Students have been e-mailed (to school e-mail addresses) a calendar from the QNAPSA National Association of Prospective Student Advisors Queensland Chapter. This calendar has information about open days, some dates that are relevant for some facilities and parent information nights. Central Queensland University - Meditation recommendation
Smiling Mind is an
innovative, not-for-profit organisation, providing mindfulness meditation
programs to Australian children, teens and adults.
Partnering with ABC Radio, Smiling Mind have are now offering "Back to School" meditation programs. These short, 2-minute programs are tailored to students, teachers and parents coping with the stresses of a new school year. Activities cover a range of topics including coping with change, responding to stress and noticing thoughts and emotions.

Currently, research is being undertaken at UQ to understand the preferences and decision-making of Year 11 and Year 12 students studying in high school.
If you are an Australian parent and keen on your child's higher education, you are invited to participate in this research project.
To be eligible to participate in the study, you must have a child studying in Year 11 or Year 12 in any high school in Queensland, and you, along with your child, must be willing to participate in the survey.
