Women in Army Adventure Camp

Defence Force Recruiting, HQ 3rd Brigade and the Defence Work Experience Program are pleased to offer the Women in Army Adventure Camp for the first time in North Queensland.

This is a residential camp to be held at Lavarack Barracks in Townsville from 5th - 8th July.  Accommodation on base and all meals will be provided.

The Camp is aimed at young women aged 15 - 18 who are thinking about an Army career and would like hands-on experience and exposure to a range of career options and job roles within Army.  The Camp will also focus on leadership and teamwork skills and girls will be involved in a range of activities throughout the week.

The link below will take you to the DWEP website where this is currently advertised - more information is available here and interested female students should apply online via this site.
