The first Diploma in General Studies (DIGS) students
based at Dookie campus will graduate at the end of 2014 and articulate into
their chosen University of Melbourne degrees.
The University of Melbourne first offered the
one-year Diploma in General Studies (DIGS) in 2013 to domestic students who
wanted to take some time to decide what to pursue after secondary school. The
program is a sampler of the Melbourne bachelors degrees, and provides students
with the opportunity to study science, commerce, environments or agriculture
while they decide what to do next. Classes are delivered at the Dookie campus in
collaboration with Goulburn Ovens TAFE and Wodonga Institute of TAFE.
