The Sejumi school holiday program is designed to develop academic skills, improve time management, upgrade computer skills and give you an edge for your senior years of high school, work and university.
Students learn by doing - we take a practical approach to learning and all students participate in activities, excursions, the development of games and more.
We live in a region surrounded by the reef and rainforest and as a result the program centres around tourism in this region, providing many opportunities to immerse in the various topics.
Bonus: Graduates from this program receive a Certificate II in Tourism (SIT20116) and 4 QCE points
Attendance: Students are required to attend the following workshop blocks and complete on-line activities throughout Term 2.
Block 1: Monday 3rd April to Friday 7th April
Block 2: Monday 3rd July to Friday 17th July
Students must attend all workshops in both blocks
Fees: This program is funded under the Queensland VETiS initiative and as a result, there are no fees applicable to the student, where they are eligible to receive this funding. Please contact Sejumi Education or Miss Denzin (N Block) Mrs McPhail (P Block), or Jenny (A Block Guidance Office) to determine eligibility. ***Students are only eligible for 1 VETis funded program so please see Miss Denzin, Mrs McPhail, or Jenny before signing up***
Limited numbers: Please note that we only take twelve students for each holiday program and due to the number of applications we strongly recommend applying as soon as possible.
