Scholarships valued at up to $20 000 are available for aspiring teachers to undertake an approved full-time pre-service teacher education program at a Queensland University from 2012. Fifteen Pearl Duncan scholarships are open to Queenslanders of Indigenous heritage and five Bid O’Sullivan scholarships are open to Year 12 graduates from 2010 and 2011 living in rural or remote Queensland.
