VTAC December Offers
VTAC recently announced that from this year onward, domestic
applicants will have the opportunity to receive offers via the VTAC system in
December, shortly after the release of results. This December round is in
addition to the usual five offer rounds throughout January and February. It
provides domestic applicants with an additional opportunity to receive an offer
and will provide certainty for many applicants about their future without the
need to wait until mid-January. Queensland is the only state other than
Victoria that will participate in this new December round, however students
studying the IB will not be included in this round due to results not being available
in time. More

From a University of Melbourne perspective, applicants will be considered for offers in all courses for the December round. However it is likely that the majority of offers will be made in the January round so applicants who do not receive an offer in December may still receive an offer in later rounds.
