JCU Indigenous Education and Research Centre's Winter School

A unique learning experience is on offer for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.

At James Cook University, The Indigenous Education and Research Centre's Winter School offers Year 10, 11, and 12 students a two-week program where they'll live on-campus, take part in lectures, enjoy team building activities, and meet academic staff.

Participants can nominate from a variety of courses, including Arts, Medicine, and Science, to Physiotherapy, Business, and IT. Students can also develop valuable skills to take back to school and apply to their learning, whether they're in Year 10 and 11, or heading into final exams in Year 12.

Applications for the July 2019 program are now open and close Wednesday 15 May.
