The University of the Sunshine Coast
has a new pathway to their programs. The Early Offer Guarantee enables eligible
year 12 students to be offered an early and guaranteed place at the University
of the Sunshine Coast in November. These offers are made prior to the release
of year 12 results so students do not have to wait until the main QTAC offer
round in January. Early and guaranteed offers will be made to students based on
approval from Mrs Carr. This program provides an alternative entry pathway to
university for students who would benefit from the opportunity to complete a
degree. For example, students who may not have opted to study for an OP or who
may have other exceptional circumstances, such as medical or family issues,
which may impact their OP result.
If you have tertiary aspirations and the passion and motivation for further
study but would benefit from additional academic skills development and
preparation before commencing a Bachelor degree. The university has an alternative
pathway such as Associate Degrees or the Tertiary Preparation Pathway (TPP)
that you may be able to access.
