Defence Work Experience Program: HMAS Cairns

As part of the Defence Work Experience Program, HMAS Cairns are offering a work experience placement from 18 - 21 June and there are still a couple of positions available on this placement.

This work experience opportunity would suit students who have a demonstrated interest in a Navy career and can support this as part of their application (selection criteria 1).  HMAS Cairns offers a high quality and interactive work experience program that includes participating in Navy Physical Training sessions, visiting ships, participating in lessons and activities associated with a range of Navy careers, tour of base and unit facilities etc.

Interested students should apply online through the website above, noting that the process is merit-based and those students who can demonstrate a genuine interest in Navy will be favoured.  Also, students must be 15 years or older to attend.
